Icon5 Is it bad to run no oil catch can on a stock boosted D16y8?

Im boosting my D16y8 and I was wondering if it is bad to run no oil catch can. The only upgrades are DSM 450cc black top injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump and skunk2 intake manifold is 70mm throttle body and engine is stock. only plan on running 8-10psi. Any help is appreciated.

PCV uses intake vacuum to evacuate crankcase gasses. What effect would forced induction have on this system?

Just upgrade your PCV valve so it doesn't leak under boost. Get one from a Toyota Supra Turbo.

Sell the 70mm TB (because you dont need it and it isn't going to gain you anything) and put that money toward a catch can. It isn't required but is suggested

i just got the 70mm throttle body because it came with my intake manifold. what size TB do you think would be a good size because i still have the stock TB in my garage. Right now i just have a breather filter coming off of my valve cover.

70mm is fine it wont hurt but prolly wont help much either, I think what hes saying is a catch can is more important then your 70mm TB which you could run stock and be fine

That breather filter is just going to get soaked with oil...I would either get a catch can setup or run a hose from that location to a bottle
