Default CEL code 17 and SRS code 10-1

My CEL is on and displaying code 17. VSS if I'm not mistaken.
I tested the sensor and it seemed fine, the connector looks good, although I didn't disassemble it. There is connection to the ECU.
My speedometer works, but it's wrong, about 10 mph faster than the speed limit according to the sign. I was doing 50 and the sign said I was going 39. I think it catches up as I go faster because on the highway I'll go 80 and pass other cars.
My cruise control works too which I hear is not like a VSS fault. The odometer froze as well.

The SRS light is on too. If displayed code 10-1. I think that's airbags deployed. The car was obviously crashed at one time, original hood, but the fenders and back drivers door are clearly from a different car. The car doesn't have any serious damage to yhe unibody. The airbags look to have been replaced, but i haven't removed them at all.
Anyways I called honda and the quoted me 600 dollars for the module. I can't afford that.
I was wondering if I should go to the junkyard?
Would That work?

I haven't has the SRS system looked at, I don't know much about the SRS system, information is hard to come by.

The lights were on before I bought the car, I'm the moron who neglected the bulb check. I didn't notice for a few days.
Thanks in advance.
