What slicks would you guys in the know recommend for an EJ coupe in full street trim all motor 190 whp, type-r transmission ?

GO with some 22x8x13's thats a good size for the amt of HP you are pushing out

 

agree 22x8 on some 13in bogarts

 

is that 190 whp from a B or a D motor??????

D on spray, about 180 whp, beening running 20x8x14 so far.

Ask 9psiHybrid how the car hooks, he gave up.

 

B18C sleeved and bored to 84mm. Wheels won't hook up in 1st gear. 60' times are consistent 2.4's. A better driver would help, but since I built it, I want to drive it. I was thinking 22x8x13's as well. Goals for the car are 220 whp and low 13's - high 12's (n/a). Excuse me for my ignorance, what exactly are Bogarts, where can I find them, and how much do they cost ? ( I can tell by the context that they are wheels, but I would like more info) Thanks for the input.

WE now carry WELD RACING Wheels as well. have a few sets coming in on that Magnum drag wheel shown above as well as the new RACELITES coming in JAnuary. email me for pics on the RACELITES.. those are nice wheels.. should be getting a few sets once production starts on them in January.

yes the WELD rims fit over the GSR brakes if you get the correct offset
