1994 honda 300ex carborator help
I have a 1994 Honda 300ex and having trouble keeping it running after I warmed it in choke and then placing in back it dies immediately as soon as I slide the choke off . I did clean the carb pretty good going to go through it again just to be sure it has a keihin carb on it any recommendations why it would stall out immediately when I take it out choke
- Do you have factory jet sizes?
- Are the jets cleaned out? (This is crucial. Unscrew them and make sure you can see through them.)
- Are all the carb passages clean?
- Is the float set at the correct height?
- Is the mixture screw adjusted correctly?
- Is the needle clip in the correct position?
- Is your idle set correctly?
All necessary for it to run well.
