Icon4 Coilover Questions

Alright guys, I've been reading these forums for a while and haven't quite found the answer I'm looking for. I have a 98 integra with stock everything when it comes to suspension. The shocks and struts are all blown and my mechanic says ,of course, I need to replace them. Instead of buying oem ones again, I was to looking into getting a set of coilovers. Keep in mind this is my daily driver, never going to see a track, maybe a couple races with my friends on the closed roads around my house in Jacksonville Florida but nothing to extravagant. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg on tein ($1000+) rather something more affordable and reasonable. I was looking at koni yellows with GC sleeves but everywhere I look they seem to be $900-$1200 which is not really in my price range and doesn't seem reasonable because I'm not racing this thing on a track, I could careless about spring rates. My question is, does anyone have any experience with a NAME BRAND coilover that is good quality not bouncy and has lasted. I have a yonaka exhaust on my car and I like the quality and the product as a whole. I was looking into their coilovera but I didn't know if it was a different ball game when it comes to suspension. I'm torn between, form and function type I (honestly don't see the purpose to buy the type II's), skunk 2, and Yonaka. I will not be slamming my car till it scrapes, rather just trying to get rid of the wheel gap. I am open to other options but PLEASE only suggest them if you have experience with them, I don't want he said she said. My price range is $500-$750($800 max). Thanks for the help and sorry to beat a dead horse. Thanks again!

Check out Form and Funtion Type One or Type Two. Got them for my Integra but haven't driven with them on yet. I've read mostly good reviews with negatives sprinkled around.

Tein street advance for about $600 would (is) my choice. F&F2's are pretty disappointing to put it kindly...and skunk2's aren't that great either.

KW ST's are great too. But no damping adjuster. They are set pretty damn good from the factory, though.

Koni and GC's are alright as long as you choose soft rear spring rates. Like 250LB/in or lower. And don't lower it more than 1.38"

If you look in the suspension forum, there is a great sticky on this. I based my purchase on it, got myself some Progress CS IIs and I can say with confidence that they are the best for the money hands down. They have a handful of spring rates to choose from, great build quality, and even with my pretty stiff 450/450 rates they still ride rather nicely.

If I didn't get a good deal on GC/Koni, I would have gone with Progress CS II's.
