91 civic hatch w/1.5L brake issues. help plz.
i have a 91 civic hatch 1.5L and brakes is the game.. the brake pedal has some resistance but not what it should. when you pump the brakes you get some pressure but not anywhere close to what you should have when the car is off. it is even worse when vacuum is applied to the booster. a little back story on what i have done so far. i had a leaky front brake hose on one side and the other side had bubbles that were going to pop and they had been like that for quite some time. so i changed both lines when i did the pads and rotors. that's when the problem started after i changed the parts i bled the system and i had some pressure but not all what i should. then i noticed the calipers didnt seem to be working proper so i replaced both of them and the same sponginess not really any pressure. then i replaced the master cylinder and same out come. so i thought maybe the wheel cylinders are pulling in air so i replaced both of them and the same out come. i thought maybe but the booster so i replaced it too and the same out come. and then i thought the proportioning valve so i got one from a 95 civic dx and the same sponginess with very little pressure and when vacuum is applied even worse. and i even used the mityvac hand pump and the pump hold open method too.. some one plz help.....
When you changed the lines did the master cylinder drain completely? It sounds like you need to bleed the master cylinder.
Run a hose from the rear most caliper bleeder to the master cylinder reservoir and slowly pump the brake pedal. The reservoir will be the highest point in the system and air will release and bubble out giving the pedal feel back.

yes it did but i put a new master cylinder on when i changed the brake booster. i bench bled the master before i installed it.. do you think if i ran hose from the two wheel cylinders in the rear to the master and hose from the two front calipers to the master then opened all the bleeder screws and and slowly pumped would it work the same..

As Riceburner said CLEAR tubing from Home Depot works well.
Ok i will try that.. i saw a video and the guy said if your brakes are spongy take a drive down a empty road and lock the brakes up a few times and the pedal should come back.. so i did this with my brakes barely working and after about 4 or 5 lock ups they have some life to them know they will get hard if i pump the brakes while the car is off and when the car is running i have more response but not 100% yet so i think im going to do the hose from the bleeder to master starting at farthest point.. i appreciate all the help and will let you know how it goes.. thanks again. .
