Default dpfi to mpfi but with other questions

okay heres where im at..i had the stock dpfi 1.5 and swapped in a full zc 1.6 swap with everything including the dizzy, resistor box, PM6 and si harness along with my standard harness..

i dont know what to do about the wiring..i saw all the diagrams and read outs but they dont specify how to combine the two harnesses..or im just confused?

You don't combine the Si harness with the DPFI harness.
The firewall connections are different so you convert the DPFI engine harness to MPFI.
It is basically adding support for the 2 additional injectors, distributor sensor, and opposite rotation of the TPS.

I read somewhere that I needed the si harness? idk.




so just follow these or? I'm so lost.

Like 4drEF mentioned you can't combine the dpfi harness with the mpfi"Si" harness. Two different plugs that won't connect to each other. You can add the wires needed or buy a pre-made plug and play harness.

The reason you need the other engine harness is for the plugs. you will move and add wires on the original harness to accommodate the added injectors. I believe the dizzy plug may also different. There are some really good step by step guides out there. Google has all the answers. don't be afraid to spend good time prepping yourself before you take on a project.
