Camber Kit?
90 CRX. I lowered my CRX with Tein springs all the way around. I think they are about 1.60 inch drop give or take. It has been about a year and the rear tires seem to be wearing normal. But the front driver side wore out the inside down to the cord whereas the front passenger side hardly wore at all. When i took it to get it aligned they said they couldnt do it and that i would need a camber kit. The f driver side was 1.9 and the f passenger side was 1.2 camber on the computer. Do i have to buy adjustable upper control arms or is there another way to correct camber? Thanks
No oth way to correct the camber on these cars. You'll need a camber kit. I would spend a little extra and get a reputable camber Kit. Don't get the generic knock offs. Those usually don't fit well and are cheaply made.
Did you get an alignment after you put the springs on? What was your toe set at...that's the real killer of tires.
There's lot of camber kits with pros and cons to each. So do some research before you buy. I had some serious caber with maybe a 2-2.5" drop and didn't have a camber kit. My tires still lasted over a year

incorrect toe wears tires.
even after lowering and getting an alignment, the old toe "specs" are no longer correct. your ride height is not the same, why should the camber and toe specs be the same?? you must toe out a little like the above chart shows (negative toe is toe out). the camber will be fine.
its typical shops toe in for a more stable ride, but you will just end up wearing out the tires this way if youre already lowered. at least tell them to go to the outside of the standard toe specs.
