I was driving home on the freeway and i heard a clicking noise near the front left, driver's side tire. So i leaned closer to the noise i was hearing to listen to see if it was getting any louder and then smoke started to come outta the hood. I pulled over and couldn't start my crx anymore. Smoke was coming out from near the timing belt/water pump. Also, when i was putting oil in the engine to try to start, it was leaking it all immediately. Not turning on, just sitting there. Anyone can help?

 

Leaking from where?

No loud pop or bang?

 

It was like a loud pop yeah. And started smoking immediately after. It's leaking from the bottom of the engine, not too sure from where exactly. When i put oil in it, it follows with leaking it all out.

 

Chances are that if you find the leak, you'll find your problem. Sounds like it could be a snapped timing belt, or simple a blown engine.

Find where the oil is spilling out and report back.

Take off valve cover, and upper timing belt cover. Inspect that ****.
