This has been a bit of a problem since i installed the gearbox. I have no idea the milage the box has covered but i got it at a good price.
Anyway my neighbour has invited me to a few track days this year, and this is one problem i want sorted.
Under normal driving conditions i have no problem down shifting through all the gears. When im at mid/high revs it can take a bit of a wiggle to get into 3rd. Or i put it down to second then back up into 3rd then let back off the clutch. Thats if im shifting down from 5th or 4th.
How ever shifting up gears there are no problems.
I have a buddy club short shifter. I've tried loosening it, playing around with a few washers underneath. Im starting to think the box may need some internal work like syncros? Anyone on here have any idea what might be up?
