my sons 93 accord lx, started and ran fine this morning. he went to start it up and only heard 1 click. i went to check it out and got nothing. new battery,voltage is ok. i then checked the starter. wiggled the wires on the sol. and tried again. i got one click and then nothing. bad sol. ? or am i missing something.i read about the main relay going bad, but i need some help here.

 

after it gives the one click, i get nothing from the switch.

 

235000 miles. she has held up pretty good so far, but things will go bad.

Try and tap the starter with a hammer, while having someone try and start the car. If it will at least as still click. This has worked with my Accord,but your starter is probly toast. 100 bucks at Napa for a rebuilt,but maybe cheaper at Rockauto.com if you can wait a few days .
