Default Honda Accord 2001 LX p1381 tricking limp mode

Tricking limp mode p1381 cylinder position sensor ..... what I did ... cleared codes with battery cables .... set idle screw to one and a half turns open ... set idle cable Wheels manually to95 RPMs now no limp mode no code and no intermittent idle bump down... idle bump down was happening as well... I ruled out alternator before all this..... Does this make any sense...?

no, that does not make any sense. the code will come back. cyp has nothing to do with idle.

LiDidn't exactly work after full warm-up and a few starts...... but now it gives me the limp mode from 950 RPMs to 2000 RPMs at idle or drive but not at 3000 RPMs no check engine light... all this consistent... I can live with this........ But just barely... before all this I disconnected iacv and it went nuts 950 RPMs to 2000 RPM's real fast limp mode..... So maybe I AC is working? What can you tell me please about this scenario does it all still point to the cylinder position sensor? Original p1381 what else can I try before throwing a distributor at it ?...... Thanks what about the fan cycle or a heat sensor I wouldn't mind having some toggle switches on my Dash to get around the problem.......... I'm even thinking about keeping my fans on the whole time using a toggle switch or hooking it into the ignition thing somehow and I have to really figure that out
Edit now limp mode 1000 rpms to 2000 RPM's real quick I can live with that because limp mode and 3000 RPMs is gone and check light is gone... I want to get this thing down to Bare Bones without much trouble I do not mind putting toggle switches in my dash any ideas please

-you don't know what limp mode is. what you are experiencing is not limp mode. it's called a bouncy idle.

-p1381 is INTERMITTENT failure of the cyp sensor. the code WILL come back. replace the distributor

-stop making MORE problems, and just replace the distributor. everything you are doing is only causing more problems

-do not hardwire the fan

-replace the distributor

-find the vacuum lean and fix it. your idle issue is because you have a VACUUM LEAK

-replace the distributor

-there are no "idle cables". whatever cables you adjusted, I'm guessing you adjusted those wrong incorrectly too
