I've googled around but just get a bunch of results for power lock problems.

Has anyone had this happen and fixed it? I can unlock the drivers door with the key but it won't turn to lock it, just started doing this yesterday. I lubricated the lock and no luck.

 

You don't have to use the key to lock the car, on most hondas when the door is open hold the inside handle while you lock the door.

 

Yea, I know, but it would be nice to be able to lock it with the key again.

 

What did you use to lubricate the lock? I use some graphite into the cylinder and it makes it nice and smooth. Did someone try to opening it with a screwdriver as in trying to steal the car? If so, I could be damaged a little.

 

Check to be sure your lock rod isn't bent or catching on anything.

 

I've had this same issue and now finally, I fixed the problem. In between the latch was a rubber piece that was blocking the window from shutting. I took a knife and cut some of it out.. And boom! It shut closed. I hope this the same issue you are having so you can close it. Thank me later 😅✌
