I dont want aftermarket LCA, just need to change shocks in EU LCA fork are more common than rear eye LCA.. was wondering if using EF rear fork Oem LCA will fits perfectly with any modification on EF sedan 88..of course with the correct rear shocks.
I used the box/eye style on my 91 sedan.
Same style as found on the 88 crx and ITR.
Apparently, JDM integra had this style as well.
They bolt right in and shock mounting location in the same as stock.
Bonus - You also get holes for a stock sway bar. (Extra work needed to get sway bar mounts to bolt to chassis)

JDM ITR's 94-01 use the rear eye as well.
And the USDM 88 Civic if i'm not mistaken.
They are all interchangeable.
Personally, i'd just keep the rear eye since it's not super uncommon and they make aftermarket LCA's if that is a route you chose to go in the future.
But to answer your original question: Yes you can switch to the fork style and get the correct LCA and it will not require any further modification to work.
Same. Pics of 88 LCA
88 arm comparison to 89+. (should be same as ITR)
