new fuel pump and fuel relay but still no start. what else would cause the gas not to come up. Almost certain that it's not a distributor/timing issue. i saw that they made a relay for domestic made hondas and foreign made hondas. so would that be an issue if the relay is not compatible?

 

Is the fuel pump priming when you turn the key to the RUN position?

If not, common issue is the main relay going bad, this will prevent the fuel pump from running. it's underneath the dash on the driver's side. New ones aren't expensive.
