I have a B20b motor in a 1998 honda civci dx. I was told that my transmission is a S1 transmission. what is the S1? i havent been able to find much info. also if i wanted to get a new tranny for the b20b what should i get? i plan on also getting a b16 vtech head to complete the b20b frankenstein build. so what tranny would be the best or should i stick with s1? i do alot of highway driving but i do like to run it fast from time to time. So its definitly not a drag car more of a highway ride.

 

S1 is a cable transmission, which would require converting your car to cable. Is that what you did?

 

I currently have the S1 just haven't ever heard or learned much about the s1

 

So your car was converted from hydro to cable?

 

Yes I assume so. I actually am not sure
