Default Slipping clutch fix...

What is the cheapest possible way to fix my slipping clutch?

My original plan was to get a new flywheel along with a complete clutch package (pressure plate & disc) but I am in a financial bind at the moment and need a more economical solution.

Can I just change out the worn disc and re-surface the flywheel?

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks.

Yea, that will work, so long as your peepee is still in good shape.

i've been told that atleast for sohc honda's the exedy 99 dollar standard replacent basic organic clutch or whatever it is, is exactly the same as oem... as in thats where it comes from, as for flywheel just examine it when you pull it if it's still smooth no need to resurface, it's just like brake pad, people will tell you different but thats the truth, i've never bothered to have one resurfaced cause they always ok when i have it apart

How many miles on your slippiong disc? Tried adjusting the clutch throw a little so you can save for the flywheel? Might not work but free.

take the flywheel to a good machine shop, get act s/s disc and get the pilot and throw out bearings. flush clutch fluid and you got yourself a nice freakin clutch.
