90 Integra b18b1, shifting problem
Hi, so as in my title. I have a b18b1 in a 90 integra, the problem I'm having is my clutch pedal seems normal strength ( not loos or too strong) and I can move my shifter into gear but for some reason the car will not move, just rev. There's a couple variables and questions I have.
So when I bought the 90 Integra shell, the clutch pedal was still there and it seems to sit quite a bit higher then the brake pedal( so Id have to retract my left leg a bit to compensate). Does anyone know if that for some odd reason would cause the clutch not to engage? I've even tightened my clutch wire as tight as I could yet nothing.
Now I also noticed that one of the axles( I'm not sure which one I'll have to double check when I have time) is not sitting all the way into the trans, so I was reading that could be a problem too, I never heard any grinding tho( but again I'll check when I have time). So another question I have is what axles should I use? If I have a b18b in 90 Integra do I use an axle from a 90-93 to match the body or from a 94-95 to match the engine?
Last variable I have is I recently replaced timing belt, tensioner and water pump. But I don't think the timing is perfect yet because the car dies after a a minute or 2. So, this seems idiotic to ask but could bag timing on the crank and crank shaft cuase you to not be able to shift into gear properly?
Any answers or info would be very much appreciated. I've been working on this car for months and am getting pretty sick of it not being able to move.. I still love it tho. But anyways, pls help..

Do you have the correct clutch cable?
Axle needs to be fully seated. If it isn't, it can cause issues that can mimic clutch problems.
90-93 axles.

Thanks bud, especially for the axle answer. So the thing is I bought a 91 Acura in Chicago that had the b18b just needed engine repairs and other things but I drove that car for about a year just fine, decided to move to Arizona so was bring it along when my timing belt peeled off alot of the ridges causing it to die. Dragged it here and found a good 90 Integra body( my original was full of rust) so I transferred alot and replaced alot but I'm fairly certain I am using the same clutch cable, its just my clutch pedal is a bit high so i have about an inch or two before I feel the resistance of the clutch cable
Thanks, I found out I needed to adjust the cable and my axle was dislodged..stupid me.. Lol but now I came up with another problem. The car moves but dies within a minute or couple seconds.. The belt on my engine I put in was stripped so I replaced the belt and all that, I'm guessing I mustve messed up the timing on the cam and crankshaft so I'm going to check that, but could you answer me this. If I bent a valve or valves would it cause my car to die like that? Or would bent valves prevent the car from starting at all, cars also running rich
