97 integra rs

Have a question folks, not sure what exactly I have just know it says pro s, now my car since I got it , it came with them but it's lowered like a muda and am tired of scraping the dam oil pan, now that am off work and got time I want to lift the ride up, now here is my question do I have to remove them to lift them up or is on the car ok? Now I notice my coilovers got two rings under the spring that lock it in place and I also notice the thread on the shock body, do I have to lift it up losing up the rings under the spring or do I Jus have to lift it turning the bottom of the shock body? Any help I will appreciate it and thanks again guys. Oh almost forgot and where do I measure them to make sure all around I got the same height? Thanks
