2000 Civic EX - Cooling Problem
Been outta the Honda game for quite a few years, surprised my old screen name still worked. Well time for my daughter to start driving and why not get a Honda. So i picked up a 2000 EX sedan. Awesome shape, Drives great, I can work on it, and best part is its unmolested but...has 265k on it. Ok, i'm not scared of mileage. Got it from one of my wifes friends. They claim all is good except it used a lot of water. I know head gaskets are always a thing so for as cheap as i got the car and the shape the car is in I went for it.

Well I am trying to figure out the radiator. When i squeeze the upper radiator hose, water can be heard rustling in the overflow. I don't think that should be doing that. I checked my Infiniti and my Nissan and both of them have pressure and do not do that. I got a few new radiator caps, none of them fixed that issue. Shouldn't the cooling system have pressure so that it doesn't go into the tank when i squeeze the hose?
Also I have 2 stuck spark plugs. I have sprayed PB Baster and let them sit overnight. still doesn't turn any better help!

Post a video showing what you see in overflow and the hose that runs from the radiator to the overflow.
Also pressure test the cooling system for leaks.
Try an impact gun on the spark plugs.

Got the spark plugs out. #1 came out rather easy after sitting in PB Blaster for 3 days once I started working it back and forth. The #4 cylinder was much harder but with using the impact and then a 1/2" breaker bar I worked it out.
I will try to do the coolant pressure test tomorrow. I think I figured out the rad cap problem that was probably in my head.

Check the ridge in the radiator that the rubber seal in the cap seats on.
Those plugs are worn out but otherwise look OK. I would not put #4 back in because it has aluminum gummed in the threads. Put in a set of new ones.
Then start the engine with the cap off and look for any bubbling in the radiator. The radiator fluid should sit still when the engine is cold.
