i can't find any bigger diameter vacuum hose for my blitz bov from where i live so i ended up buying the same vacuum hose as that of the stock fpr(same size and diameter) will that size vacuum hose be enough for my blitz bov? will the bov work on those hoses? is bigger the diameter better for vacuum hoses or not?

by the way, the car is a 99 SiR and boost is at 7psi.

Well. Most of the vacuum lines are 5/16th" or 4mm. The common "larger" size is 1/4" or 6mm. I use 4mm for most of my routing. But the wastegate lines are 6mm.

 

the size for the stock FPR vacuum hose is 3/16"

the line that for the fuel return is 1/4"

 

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, 1/4" is smaller than 5/16".... I used 1/4" for my 1G DSM BOV and it works fine.

 

Opps I meant 1/8th or 3/16th!
