New guy to the Honda scene
Names Jake.
I live down in Kentucky and love anything with an engine.
I run a Mini-truck page on Instagram and own a 98 Chevy S10.
I live in town now so I dont have much use for a truck.
Ive been waning to build it for awhile but it just isnt practical right now. So, I decided I needed something a little simplert o build that could be a cross between an economical-ish car and a toy, My interest in small cars was peaked, and when I realized how easy they are to work on compared to trucks, they get good mileage, but at the same time you can turn them into a low budget nice car, or build a super nice high powered car.
I do enjoy building cars and learning. Also, being only 19 with a limited supply of knowledge, but enough to get me in trouble, i thought the best thing to do was start with a car.
Ive become absolutely fascinated with the car community , the cars, and the unbelieviably cool things I could accomplish.
Im currently saving to buy an older honda like a Civic, Prelude, something like that. I want a manual, and a solid base platform to grow my knowledge on.
I'd appreciate some suggestions on what older car could be a good start.
My goals are to have a reliable daily, but have a semi quick car. I'd like to go the turbo route.
Im not that guy who comes on here saying, "i wanna go super fast but i dont wanna spend alot of money"
Granted, I dont have a money tree in my backyard, but I will take the time and money to build what I want, the right way.
I hope to learn more, build something cool, and be apart of the community.
Later guys!
