Default 98 crv 5 speed b20vtec build

hello honda tech.
after previously turboing a b20z crv, I am back to build a b20vtec for a crv.

The plan build a reliable daily driving winter capable b20vtec in a crv 5speed rtwd.

I started with receiving a b20z2. This was running in the crv it was pulled from however it was rumored to have a burnt valve in one cylinder.
I received this and a bunch of random stuff (gsr head, cams, pistons) from a friend for $200. So I committed my self to the project.

First step: find another RD1 crv thats decently clean. hard to do in wisconsin.
After looking at a few terrible options, this was purchased

Engine tear down

confirmed that the head had a bad valve.

everything looking normal so far.

pistons look great, rings look intact, rods look normal, bearings look completely reusable, cylinders looked unharmed.

Then I found an angry bearing and corresponding scratches in the crank.

Had my brother steam clean the block and it has been dropped off at Pakes' Engine & Machine, Inc in Janesville WI. Awesome work out of these guys

cylinder head.
I had to ways to go about this.
I received a gsr head when I picked up the b20.
The head had supertech flat valves, dual springs.
However the guides had been improperly machine back in the day and two valves stuck. so I would need 2 valves, 2 seats, 2 springs. the head was missing rockers blablabla.

So I picked this up off craigslist for $250.
gsr head, stock valves, supertech springs stock cams, and golden eagle lsvtec kit. perfect.

This has since been disassembled and dropped off at Pakes' Engine & Machine.

semi parts list:
13020-phk-000 oem pistons/rings +.25mm oversize. (came with motor)
king bearings (am series)
Stock rods
Arp rod bolts
OEM GSR Oil pump
Gates CRV Waterpump/Timing kit

Cosmetic 84.5mm bore .030" thick head gasket
Arp head bolts
Supertech valve seals

update from machine shop
confirmed crank needs to be turned , bummer extra $100, oh well.

GSR head has .008" flatness. Yikes! it was "resurfaced" when I bought it.
Also the head has been milled beyond there "spec" .01"

To get the head flat again the total milled material is going to be .016-.020"

HELP: Is there any concern with milling a gsr head say .020" using a .030" head gasket on a b20z2, stock gsr cams, piston to valve?

I would consult the FSM manual for how much you can shave off of the head before it cannot be used.
