2000 Accord exhaust suggestion
I have a 2000 V6 Accord that I've decided to start doing some mods to it. One mod high on my list is a new exhaust system to replace the stock one. I want something that is moderately loud and has a nice beefy tone but not anything that will make me sound like an annoying weed eater. I'm looking to spend up to about $450 so my question is what is the best bang for my buck? Should I go with a cat back or axle back? I really don't know all that much about exhaust systems so I figured I'd ask someone that does.
Magnaflow will get you what you want. I have one, and it sounds good even on the 4-cylinder.
I know the V6 version is quite expensive with the dual mufflers......I believe a 4-cylinder version fits with minimal modding, and will definitely be cheaper. You don't gain anything with dual mufflers anyways, since it not a true dual exhaust......just a single that splits.

But you can also piece something similar together....buy a Magnaflow Street series muffler (get a 5x8 oval muffler, they sound best. whether you want dual or single tips is preference). Find what muffler you want, get the part number and google to find it cheapest.

Once you have the muffler, buyt a 2.25"x18" Vibrant resonator. Then take those 2 things to an exhaust shop and have them bend and weld up piping with the muffler and resonator.
