Default 97 civic cx jerking when up or down shift

I have searched and couldnt get a definitive conclusion. Most say the jerking is driver error, I drive manual all the time so its not my driving which some may suggest. This is the only manual I have ever drove to act this way.

I just purchased a stock 97 cx with the d16y7. When I upshift or downshift there is a slight jerk to the right or left, not fowards or backwards. Somewhat of a feeling when you hit a patch of water and some "skate" for a split sec. Ive heard it could be the clutch, but it seems like it may be axels or something, any ideas?

Check the engine and transmission mounts.

Found the problem, axles and tie rods. Inner and outer drivers side.
