BF Good. Drag Radials
How is their wear life? Any info is appreciated. I don't want to run slicks.
Additionally, i will be using them for daily driving.

Not good to run them daily. I got a pair that I swap out when I go race. It wears down pretty quick. Not sure how quick as they are not my daily driving tire.
True.. I hear they don't last as long, but they supposedly actually help. I tried out a set of nitto drag radials and they're garbage, especially the 15" ones. Why they made it a 45 profile tire doesn't make sense. Now I get wheel hop in second instead of spinning cleanly. I'm gonna try out a pair of bfg's and hopefully they'll hook well.

Not really good to drive them on the street, if you want a street radial tire for every day use I would get the Nitto, harder compound, and stiffer sidewalls. The BFG are very sticky, wear down past the legal limit quite quickly, and have soft sidewalls.
Personally I wouldn't buy the Nitto again, but I also have enough rims to have a dedicated set of drag rims.

Ever run a new set of BF's on the street? How long did they last you, and how were you driving? Ive heard from more then 1 person that the 555's aren't anything great.
Ever run F. Azenis? Which would hook up better between the Falkin Azenis i keep hearing about and the 555's?
I will be getting my wheels soon too, so I may just reserve the stockies for slicks, and run whatever is recommended on the street (as sticky as possible with a respectable wear life). I want something that will hook up nicely on the street.

I have owned 2 sets of Falken Azenis, these tires are heavy, and were designed for lapping days, and autocross competition, they have a sticky compound that works fairly well for traction at the drag strip, but the are very heavy tires...the other tires that are out there are much lighter.
BFG tires, Dion has a set of the older version and the tread wore down very quickly, I have been in contact with the head of their Motorsports division and he suggested that the be used on the street for a very short period of time...you get too many heat cycles in the tires and you'll have tread left, but it wont be very sticky...

The tires' durability is beginning to impress me more and more. The tires you competed on were mounted in '01, were given out at each race we attended in both '01 and '02, and still are capable of competition for next year's events. The tread wear and the performance alone should start turning some heads.
