Hi Honda Tech, I pulled a new headliner and ordered foam backed fabric. The old foam liner is actually in pretty good condition, the fabric came right off. I need to remove the foam, should I try to peel it or use a wire brush to remove the whole thing?

I opted for a whole new headliner material with foam *because* I didn't want the glue to bleed through the fabric, especially since it's medium gray.

This is what I'm looking at (not mine)

 

Use a beush to scrub off the old foam.
A strong plastic bristle brush or light metal wire brush, do this by hand.
Ora some 36-80 grit sand paper.
