NEED HELP....no cel
I have a 92 honda civic 1.5 L with a stock engine....had a check engine light code 9...changed the distributor and the light hasnt came back since...but i still have powerloss issues.....uphills i could have my foot on the gas and still lose acceleration...highways in the beginning is hard to keep up but when i get up i stay up....dont know what it could be...this is my first honda....any help please
Not setting your ignition timing would cause it. One thing at a time. Setting ignition timing is a critical part of installing a distributor - I don't know why you thought you could just skip that step.
I didnt know i had to do it...i watched youtube videos of how to properly change a distributor and they all failed to mention that....and ima do it tomorrow but i had the powerloss issue before i changed distributors which i did yesterday...ive had the car a month now
I think it could be the o2 sensors or timing belt....just guessing....my old distributor was good all i switched was the ignition coil
