Replacing Wheels
I just bought my first car (a 2012 Honda Civic) and I'm looking to get some white-wall tires for it but my local auto-parts store didn't seem to have any.
So my first question is, does anyone know what size wheel I'd need for the 2012 Civic?
And, does anyone know a good place to find white-wall tires for it?
Thanks!

lord knows I try not to judge, but why white wall tires?
just look at the side of the tire. you'll see s aeries of numbers like this: 215/45/17. thats your tire size (may not actually be that number)
and the reason you cant find those tires is because the sidewall is too thin for white walls. unless you get 13" daytons or something, you're prolly out of luck.

I'll try looking into the Dayton's
I haven't seen a low profile tire with white wall sides, probably not enough room to work with, at the factory.
Even if you went down to a 15" ITR rim, from 2001 with 195/65/15 the amount of sidewall is not a lot.
The 2001 15" ITR rims will not fit the Civic SI model.
I can not believe that I don't have any photos of my Galaxy Grey 2006 Civic EX with my ITR rims.

It would be helpful if you gave more information besides "2012 Civic"... trim level would get us closer and an actual tire size would be great. Assuming that it is NOT an Si, the factory size would be P205/55R16, and Vogue DOES make a tire in that size.
Look here: Custom Built Radial VIII Tyres | Vogue Tyre & Rubber Co.
If you do in fact have an Si, then I do not believe they offer a direct fit 18" size, although you could drop back to 17" wheels and use the P205/50R17 size listed at the link above.
Also, years ago there was a fad where tire shops actually "cut" white walls into any tire provided by a customer. You could call around in your area and find a shop that may still perform this service... I would try a large custom wheel and tire shop NOT owned by a major chain.
