hey i searched alot and i found different answers, and i dont know switch is the right one. I have a 2004 honda civic SI with 187K all stock except a K&N intake.
heres whats going on i was in a rush going to school dint wanna be late so i was speeding and swearving, i got to 6k rpms and shifted but miss shifted and redlined my friend was behind me and said a HUGE cloud of black smoke came out. the car was drove fine no noise, after school,next day morning it was also fine no noise, but after school it had a hard time starting up and when it did i drove it started making a noise like whining or you know when theirs a little crack in the window during winter and it makes that whistling noise it sound very similar to that, Heres a vid i hope you can hear the sound if not ill try to get a better one thank you.
EDIT:also noticed that it happens over 2k rpm.
