Hi GUys, I have allready the hole turbo kit and now i need to build the engine, I need some recommendations to build this dohc engine good, my turbo setup is for 400hp and i have a crx 1989 with a dohc zc 1.6

Maybe some of u guys had build this engine already and hope can help me with some tips.

I don't think there is much changing or even being considered to market for a DOHC ZC recently.. It's a pretty rare motor in a class of its own. What are you looking for recommendation wise? What turbo are you using? A lot of factors that people can't guess at.

 

I got the CX racing turbo kit for D series engine, they say can make 400hp with good build and tune engine.

Im in europe here this engine is very common and cheap. but people just run turbo with stock internal with max 0.5 bar, I want to know how much can i get from this engine if I build it good.

 

If eBay crap is your budget, you're kind of SOL on building your motor. The DOHC ZC is a weird little ******, though. You'll need to figure out pistons (any proper forged D series piston should work), rods (again, I believe they're the same as other D series motors), and head studs (which are NOT the same).
