A/T dpfi to obd1 A/T mpfi wagon swap,

Default A/T dpfi to obd1 A/T mpfi wagon swap,

hi guys,
i need some help with a A/T dpfi to obd1 mpfi wagon swap,

so i cut and soldered all the obd0 ecu wires to obd1 connectors. and im left with 4 wires

A8 - yellow (A/T relaterd) lockup solenoid??
B5 - white/yellow ALT C??
B7 - green/orange (A/T related) shift position console switch P / N??
B11 - green/black (A/T related) shift position console switch D??

Af far as I know, OBD1 A/T transmissions have 2 lock up solenoids.
In to see how you deal with this.

cant i just use one of the lockup solenoid outputs?

also, what is the function of pins b8 and b11?

this is correct. when I did MPFI OBD1 i connected i think output B to the single solenoid and dummied the A signal with a 2 ohm resistor. Not the smoothest lockup but it worked.might need to reverse A and B

the AT inputs (D N P etc) are to tell the computer that your in or not in drive mode so it can maintain idle speed etc. it wont flash the D4 light. all A/T codes are check engine lights on OBD0/1

of course if you hadn't of already cut the wire i would say go with a PS9 (=A/T PM6) obd0 ecu. MPFI, chippable, and plug n play.

there is also a wht/red wire that goes to the interlock box. i think it A8on OBD0. it's so you cant rev the engine past idle and throw it into D.

don forget you also need to add a heated O2 too.
