Hi all,
a few years back i bought these new recaros authentic recaros for my EK and i remember i had to do some fabrication to get those seats to fit. well the seats keep getting wobbly and im fed up so what are my solutions in terms of price and brand when it comes to seat rails that fit to my recaro seats? they are the same recaro brand that came in the EK9 Civic Type R.

please let me know my seat rail choices cause i want something OEM that fits directly without any hassle or doing any sort of fabrication work!

 

they have rail kits....have you looked into that?

sounds like you bought seats from an integera they use the same seats but different rails. You need the rails from a civic type r (ek9) if you want oem! but they aren't cheap or easy to find really. and you will sit I believe an inch higher than the dc2 seat rails

 

i didnt buy the seats from either a civic type R or an integra type R. i bought the seats brand new from a recaro dealer in CA and the seats came brand new from Germany. just checked my emails and the seats model is called Recaro Speed and they are an identical look of the EK9 civic type R and DC2 Integra type R. i tried calling recaro directly today , but nobody seems to answer the phone. Those seats were bought in 2005 and at that time the recaro dealer i dealt with got me universal sliders/brackets where i had to modify. for some reason i didnt get back to them as i decided to modify the slider/brackets and got everything bolted up.

 

ok the seats in the integera and ek9 are recaro srd. Im not sure if they have the same bolt pattern on the bottom or not. but like I said civic ek9 rails will work on the src seats Im not certain about the speed version.

 

Find oem ek9 recaro rails probaly on eBay garunteed perfect fit not wobbly or off centered

 

Evasive motorspots sells Recaro sliders and rails. I would call them and ask for your application otherwise buy some Sliders and a Planted bracket. Install and done.
