There is no "standard" location for the alarm, it can be mount anywhere and still be wired up properly. Best bet is to disconnect the horn and follow the trail of clicking under your dash.
Start by giving more information about your car - CX, DX, HX, LX, EX, hatch, coupe, sedan.
Have you looked around for an alarm system or for something that looks like an alarm system?
Do you have a keyless remote?
See any aftermarket lights or buttons inside car?
Start looking around and posting pictures rather than have members guess.

No sign of after market alarm but did notice bright red wires under steering wheel its a 97 ex ej8 never had a remote or keyless entry but all i know about previous owner was it was swaped and a lot of expensive parts so maybe there was a aftermarket alarm on their at one point ?
Ill get some pictures when i get home

No oem radio/ when i saw the red wiring i figured it might be the fogs he had in but ill trace it with some pics when i get home
On some old alarms there is a small box strapped to the steering column, it's typically a "bump" sensor. Quite often there is a small plastic screw adjuster for sensitivity on it. You can reduce sensitivity there.
If your old alarm has this it might fix your problem of constant chirping.

When you say small box what size am i looking for like 2inch by 1 inch box or something way smaller or bigger just to give me a idea
Yeah hope i find something following the wires should i be worried about the green and blue wires to the left or is that stock?

I think mine might have been 2x2 or 2x3
It's not very big. I will see if I can get a picture after work, both my wifes car and my car have one. Her alarm was put in just a little over a year ago, mine was done in the late 90's.
In the following pic, I circled what mine looks like but mine was strapped to the column itself:

I believe it's called the shock sensor.
Here is another one:
