Tried to post in the Oregon section of the forum but couldn't for some reason. Bought my Noble Green TL type s in 2010 with 79k miles and have added quite a bit to it!
Started out buying a lip kit off 2 a-zine members up in Portland, drove up 4 hrs just to pick up the front, rear and a CAI from a third member. The car had really bad oxidation on the rear quarter panels so when I had the lip kit painted I had them paint the entire front end, roof, quarter panels and Mugen Replica spoiler. Was one of the first ten to buy one!
Bought some H&R Springs with Tokico shocks new. Some Tsudo Axle-Back Mufflers off a member on a-zine. Some Eibach Sway Bars for the front and rear and had my car lowered, sway bars installed, exhaust, alignment and new tires all done at the same time.
Had the windows tinted. Bought a new Pioneer double din stereo off Amazon with MB Quart Components adding tweeters in the doors and have since been looking for subs. A week after buying the car my ex made me a mixed cd and it jammed the player because it was a rewritable disc so the dealership bought two oem stereos to replace it but couldn't figure out the codes so they ended up just cutting me a check and got the stereo for free!
It had a broken fog lamp and bought one from a salvage yard in cali and installed it and the Injen CAI.
Then later saw some Gram Lite wheels on a-zine that happened to be a friend of mines I went to school with and bought them right away. Really liked the 18s with the 1.5 in drop.
Recently I've been researching the j37 IM swap and tb. Going to try and find a good deal on the forum for a blox tb or the zdx one. If the k-series will work I'd prefer it so I can keep cruise control. Found the IM in Sacramento at a salvage yard and just have to find a deal on the gaskets. I've also been looking at High Flow Cats too. Bought some DC Sports headers a few months ago and need to have them installed. I'd like to get the cat done at the same time and piping. Then do the j37 IM swap.
Last 6 months the only thing things I've done was add the Inspire grill I got for free, Inspire emblem and some jdm emblems. Have the fender turn signals off an inspire that I need to have installed. Then the only thing missing is the Inspire steering wheel and H emblem on the rear. Found some oem burl wood pieces on ebay I added to the interior, a CL gauge cluster and vent pieces.
As for maintenance I've had the worst luck. 2 years after buying the car the transmission went out. Had Acura of Reno rebuild it. Then the converter went out one month after the one year warranty. So I've been looking at the av6 transmission swap and the CL 6 spd and not sure which I'll do yet. Just before the trans went out the timing chain and water pump needed to be replaced. And a couple months before then the motor mounts needed to be replaced. Got the XLR8 mounts and drastically changed the cars ride quality! Felt like driving a sports car after. Highly recommend them.
Was looking in the market place and saw the Oregon thread so thought I'd do a new member post. I'd really like to find someone to help me out if I do the 6 speed swap and someone to teach me how to work on the car. Show me how to install headers, help with the j37 IM, misc things that need done to the car. That way I'm learning and not just taking it to a shop.
Had a flat tire few months ago. Replaced two of the tires with some used ones for $80.
Desperately need to figure out how to clean the headlamps! Tried using a kit and made them worse! Looking for the oem chrome strip on the hood too because mine broke. Eventually need some hood shocks, the hood will just fall down unless propped up.
Honda Performance JDM emblem. Need to put on my a-spec emblem and H rear emblem still. Have a unique type s badge by Honda I'm going to put on too.

Thanks man! Work in progress! Love the color though and I use to think there weren't too many modified that were the Noble Green until I joined the Acura TL FB page and saw 2 exactly like mine! Love the car, just wish I had the 6 speed!
Which one? Had planned on the j37 IM swap and tb. Then the forged crank and rods, RL pistons. Wish I could find a low mileage 07-08 TL type s motor and 6 spd!
