Default Accord99 clutch fork is moving but clutch is not working. need help.

Hi, having problems lately, clutch started acting few week ago,its nice and grabby but sometimes when I pressed the pedal It was really hard to shift gears. I changed both slave and master taken from autowreker, at first it was working fine then worse plus wining sound appeared when I was pressing the clutch pedal. Finally clutch stopped working completely, I could not put in any gear. Outside fork on transmission is moving if I press the clutch pedal, so seems like master and slave are ok. Anything I missed before start taking transmission down ? Could it be just release bearing, and I dont have to buy all clutch set? Thnks

If there were no leaks when it started happening it's likely you just need a new clutch kit.

Just to be sure, look down at the clutch master cylinder pushrod where it comes through the firewall down by the clutch pedal. See if there is any leakage(brake fluid). If not, then you just need a new clutch kit including the throwout bearing.

I do see you replaced the master cylinder so I'm curious if it was leaking at the old pushrod? If not, then just pick up a new Exedy clutch kit.

Thnks aprusiate it . The problemm was the spring came out of the disc . I bought a kit, put a new clutch , works fine now ,the only abit a problem now when I shift to second gear it grinds abit, but if I hold it on neutral and then shift to second its fine. Other gears shift fine without abit of grind ,if I shift in it without delay.Could it be becouse I forsed it to shift when I was driving to the place where I was fixing it ? Or it could be ajusted by shift cables or something ? Thnks

If you forced it into gear the synchro may have been worn/damaged.

Try changing the trans fluid to remove any junk that may be in the fluid, it may smooth out the shifting.

Thnks Mad Mike ,I drained fluid before I changed the clutch, didnt see any metal particles or anything.
Its hard to believe its so sensitive and broke just from one drive, because I was forcing shifting in other gears too and the are ok.
I will try to swap master again will see what happens, but dont think this is the problem, shifts fine in other gears

If you have the tranny rebuilt keep in mind you need to replace the gear as well. Lots of times the replace just the synchros but the dogteeth on the gear are normally bad too.

If all other gears are good then it's just the synchros, the synchro spring and the gear that needs to be replaced.
