Picking up a set of cw 16in type r wheels and want to have the wheels done the factory gunmetal Would any of you guys know what powdercoate color code that would be?

 

If you have one of the factory center caps in gunmetal, I would take it with you to the shop you are using and compare samples until you've found the closest match. I did the same with the wheels I powdercoated "pure white." I was hesitant to use a RAL code from someone else and I figured I would trust my own eye better. The color I ended up choosing was in fact the most commonly used color to match championship white (RAL 9010) on the forums but I selected it by eye versus internet recommendations. When I dropped off the wheels I felt a lot better about my choice than I would have if I used someone else's suggestion. I paid $85 per wheel including prep and powder. Good luck!

 

Well I don't have any gunmetal center caps. Only cw caps. And Acura is on back order.

 

The ITR Gunmetal is called Kaiser.

I forget what the paint code is, but just make sure you get the right one. There are 2 different ones available.

 

Wheels are Kaiser Silver-NH-546M.
Another similar color is Solaris Silver-NH-536M.

Get a spray out card of each color and see what color you like best.
I bet if you switch up the color cards you wont be able to tell the difference.
