Mechanical throttle ?
Guys; I've put my Honda Accord Tourer up for sale because I want to get a smaller car (the wagon is needlessly big for me)
I want to get a smaller car and also a more oldschool car than the Accord Tourer. The electronic throttle that it has is too modern for me as I am used to my 6G VTi so I'd like to get something with a similar engine like my 6G.
So my question to all of you is this-- until when were Honda making cars with mechanical throttle ?
I know that some of the 7G Civic had mechanical throttle but I think some of the later ones didn't any more as they were becoming more modern. I'm not 100% sure.
Is there a list written about it somewhere or something like that or was is it just never mentioned ? Because I can't find it anywhere
Thanks and I apologize if I sounded corny

I believe depending on model and engine most cars had migrated to throttle by wire/electronic TB around 05-06 so generally most of the models older then that were still throttle Cable but throttle by wire had been on some models here and there as early as 2002 if I'm not mistaken...basically 05 an older is cable
Most active models were cable until end of 2004. DBW was most common in models starting in 2005 and later. There are retrofits available for most 4 cylinder models but for your Tourer, not so much.
Exactly; that's why I'd rather sell the Accord and get something more oldschool!
