Doing timing belt soon, any other PM's to do?
1996 civic dx 280k body, D16y7 motor with around 60k (motor is a replacement that was sitting in a warehouse for a few years so going to go with the severe schedule per FSM)
Bought Aisin TKH-005 kit which has belt, water pump, and idler.
Should I do any other preventative maintenance while i'm there? I will be checking clearance on valves and adjusting accordingly, and I'll probably replace the valve cover seal
Should I worry about an oil control seals on the crankshaft or cam while I'm in there?

don't bother inspecting the seals. With that many miles just replace them.
I had to replace cam seals and a crank seal on a b18c5 even though the motor only had abou 90k miles and was NEVER driven much because the damn type r was a "show car". Yes they were leaking.
ugly widebody kit, too damn low to drive anywhere, and lambo doors.

+1 to Tony. You have to remove the timing belt to replace the cam seal. The cam seal is cheap. Might as well go ahead and replace it while the timing belt is off. The valve cover gasket kit would be smart too, which you already plan on doing. While you have everything tore down, I would also personally do the main seal there, which is in the oil pump.
