Hey guys, I realized coils can't ever truly be as comfy as the stock suspension-but I have had Megan Racing coils for 2 years, and can't stand them anymore. Driving 120 miles a day, and living in New England (pretty choppy roads) I need a better solution.

I've looked at so many brands I'm confused now, what would you guys suggest? Megans are 8kg 6kg spring rate (maybe 6/4 will be somewhat better?), and they probably use low quality springs and I'm wondering if the mono-tube design is harsher by nature.

I'm almost considering getting the HFP suspension, but the less than 1 inch drop isn't much, and I have an i4 and wonder if the lighter front end will sit higher on the HFP's designed for the v6.

I recommend going back to springs and shocks. HR or something like Ebach Pro-kit. Those are the only two brands I would recommend for what you describe. And with KYB or Tokicos. I think you will be more comfortable with them in the long run. Tein S-Tech is also on my list. Those are the only three I had and with real world experience with.

As for putting on V6 (HFP) on a I4. Speaking from a 8th Gen, yes, it would work. Yes, it will be lowered. However, the front will look a bit "different" where you can't pin point it, at first glance. Proper application of springs and car have "that look." That look is by design. It's not just about "a bit lower." Yes, I've seen HFP springs for V6 on a I4 for the 8th Gen.

Avoid spending more $$$. Get the right springs and shocks combo.

Counter point: If you are getting the springs free, shocks free, and DIY labor, and not all that picky, then go for it. It's free. Again, speaking from the 8th gen Accord, the lower look will be acceptable.
