Default ZC tranny questions

im pretty sure a ZC tranny will bolt directly to a d15b2 motor and that the mounts are all the same. does anyone know if i can use my currect stock DX axles in the ZC tranny? someone i know says he "thinks" the splines on the ZC tranny are different and that i would have to use some older integra axles, anyone know for sure on this?

Your current axles will not work on a ZC tranny. The ZC uses an intermediate shaft and requires equal length axles. I believe you will need the 90-91 integra non abs axles.

I could be worng, but I'm fairly certain that you will not be able to bolt the halfshaft to the block. It will definately take some custom axles to make it function. Why not just track down an Si trans? It has overall better gearing in stock form than the ZC tranny.

Very good point. You would definitely want to check that out before you invested the money in the tranny.
