Default Anthony From NYC 1995 Del Sol Si

Just joined, and from what i was told i have a D16z6. This car might not even be mine just yet. So I buy and sell all kinds of cars, ebay, craigslist or insurance auctions. I'm not a dealer just like deals and know how to find them or rather they find me. when i buy something I just head first into it and become as knowledgeable as i possibly can. So my max bid for this car was $225, yes that sounds dirt cheap but there are fees involved so total might be in the ball park of 450/80. Again I"m not complaining but then i have to go and pick it up either on a tow dolly or have it towed, because as it states, engine starts, but it doesn't state runs and drives. Seller has a reserve of 400 but I won't pay that so they are mulling over my offer. I figure I jump out in front and see what i'm getting my self into. I'm kind of crossing my fingers they reject my offer and don't sell me the car.

This is a pretty bad hit I know. But this is NY and cheap work is done on every corner (if I want to go that route)

So apparently this car was used in a crime, I wonder what the back story was. Either way they say I'm supposed to get a clean title with it

So a but of an update. I've had the car garaged for a few months and recently registered and insured this thing. Since acquiring this car I've brought a rear clip to replace the hit it suffered before I got it. I've also ordered and tinkered with the door handle as that wasn't working properly and also too all cylinders out so they can all be the same since they weren't. Opening price for fixing the rear quarter is 850, I think I can get it done for 300, nut 4 or 5 is probably more realistic. Also the underside of the car revealed a dented oil pan (car sit really low) and looks like the housing that connects Trans and motor has some spacing so I have to figure that out. No as far as the motor, this thing g is a d16b with an H M stamp so it's imported but here's the kicker the wiring harness is either factory oem to the del sol or Idk what because the vtec solenoid has 2 plugs that aren't plugged to anything. So there's a lot of sorting out to do but I'll get to it. This car pulls hard in the high rpms and gets up and moves
