Just want to say congratulations to both Joe of Locash Racing and Aaron of TSR who set the new FIS record for Honda's with a 9.0 @ 164. This car was moving, 62mm turbo, Full interior, registered and full exhaust. The best part was this was set in Tucson of all places with a track elevation of 3600 feet and the DA yesterday was close to 5000 feet.

This car will easily hits 8's here in Phoenix IFO in March. Joe in his FWD car also took the win with and 8.5 @ 178.

Darton MID Sleeved B18C, PPG gearset, Comp Turbo 62mm.. Just have to work out a few bugs and should be able to make an 8 second pass..

Oh yeah, so many people are complaining it isn't even funny. Cliff had to delete a page on Facebook with the countless number of people complaining.

The best part is the car is built to follow every rule for FIS and people are still angry.

Like I said adding a full exhaust rule wasn't going to do anything.

 

Joe did I see some were this car is on aem infinity. It is cooking with hot grease to go that on a 62. What did the short track look like.

Car is not on AEM, it is on Motec M800. It has my old MCP head from my grey car, as I put my 4Piston head on the grey car. White car just gets all the hand me downs and spare parts, lol.

Breakdown of the slip, need to work on the short track obviously, but since it was the first full hit with the boost controller working, we have some data to work off of now..

Nice job! That is badass. Remember 72mm gettin into the 8's. Then, was anybody ever gonna be able to do it with a 67mm.... Then is anybody ever gonna be able to do it on a 62mm..... Better get the 58mm cars finished up.. Great job guys! Just awesome.

 

To be honest, I'm not sure exactly what power its making, as I tested this turbo on another car with a simpler setup on Hondata and made 900hp. Ran out of time to put my car on the dyno and just guessed at the map and went racing, lol. One of the beauties of Map/Emap setup on Motec that I really like. The grey car never makes it onto the dyno, I just swap turbos and wing it.

Making a few more changes to the car and will be taking it back out soon to stir up some controversy, maybe I will install an 8 track player or something, I do have one sweet Judas Priest 8 track here, Unleashed in the East, live in Japan! That will keep the JDM guys happy at least.
