Am trying to change my brake pads , but i already try almost all the pads from differents models of honda and nothing fit , but its look like somebody change the caliper mounting bracket , because already try using pads by looking my caliper cast number that is 16CL14VN but none of the pads for that cast number dont fit in the bracket . here i have the picture of the old brake pads that have a cast number on the back side of pads , and another picture of the caliper mounting bracket that have a cast number stampped on it , but ill been trying looking for that cast number on the bracket on google , and nothing comes off , its somebody can identify this caliper bracket am gonna apreciate that .
The width of the old pads are 136mm

 

What kind of car? Do you have pictures of the caliper numbers? Did you check the FAQ sticky above? Lots of resources in there.

Already read that threat , by following direccions ,16CL14VN its suppose to be for 94-97 del sol and 93-95 civic ex but already try from
94-97 del sol
93-95 civic ex
96-2000 acura integra
1990-1993 honda accord
96-2000 honda civic ex
And none of them fit , the closest one was the 1900-1993 honda accord that i think its the same as civic 96 ex .

 

What year, make and model do you have?

At least a start with the caliper number, maybe the wrong pads were used before.

 

Already upload the picture of the caliper cast number is 16CL14VN That is the cast number on the caliper , But i cant find the freaking information of the caliper mounting bracket , And i think no body here its going to identify the MOUNTING BRACKET , the mounting bracket its stamped with the number 53E ?
