Default ID1000 O-ring for AEM rail

Tried fitting my Id1000's on my aem fuel rail last night, The top O-rings are just barely to large to fit properly. Already ripped one o-ring last night and that was with using oil as a lubricant. (they fit fine in the OEM rail). I believe its a combination of both AEM and ID attempting a snugger fit then OEM, which when combined its just too tight

I have already contacted both Injector Dynamics as well as AEM, with little to no help.
My next step is to try OEM O-rings

just curious if anyone else has ran into this

My issue was them fitting into the intake manifold, they fit fine in the aem rail.. what color top hats are on the ids? Rosko racing helped me out in the situation..

the actual length seems to be good with these injectors,AEM rail, skunk2 ultra street IM, OBD1 lower oring, and factory fuel rail spacers... The top hats are a greenish blue color.

But I know what you mean I had that issue with my FIC injectors since they are so short

They'll fit they're just tight. Use some Vaseline on the prong push in and turn back and forth gently.

Yeah. Oil, and slowly turn injector back and forth to kind of roll the o ring into place. You could try a hair dryer to warm up the aluminum rail and gain some clearance.

had to add them to my majestic honda order. Local dealership wanted 3.74 Each o-ring LOL
