Default Solid green key light on dash - help

Hey guys,

I'm doing a b16a swap into my ej9 and I'm nearly there, but when I tried to start it today the fuel pump won't prime and there is no clicks from the relay and the car won't start. Also on the the dash the green key light is constantly on even when the car is turned off (and key removed) any help would be great

I'm going to guess that you replaced the ECU. That green key light means your car has an immobilizer. You need to find a way to remove or bypass it. That's also why your fuel pump isn't priming.

Ok so I did some research and the ecu came out of a 93 eg and from what I read these ecus don't have an immobilizer built in so why is the immobilizer still stopping me? I live a long way from any main dealers and don't have access to a car trailer so if I could sort this at home it would life a lot easier

i put an integra barrel and emobilser into mine, and the light used to come on if i hit the likes of a bump hard. I just secured both better to the steering column and its been good since... may not work, but worth a try suppose
