Default Hi from the LA area

Hi folks! I used to have a beautiful 2006 nissan xterra that i loved and pampered, and then the 405 during rush hour happened and she got tanked. Kept me safe and alive, but gave her life doing so I couldn't afford a new car, so i bought my friend's husband's 2006 civic. Never owned a honda! He took okay care of her, but he didn't know much about cars and she has some aches and pains. Since getting her a year ago, i've done most of the repairs/maintenance myself. I found this forum when I was google searching OEM vs aftermarket engine mounts, as i'm tackling replacing the lower passenger side mount this week. Things i have learned about civics so far:

1. they're forigiving
2. you need really tiny hands
3. i finally need to buy an actual jack

Any other tips are appreciated
