I'm getting ready to build a stock GSR block with Arias 11.5 compression pistons and a B16 head built by Joe Alaniz. The header has flat faced valves, and S2 valvetrain. I've got several headers, intake manifolds and cams to choose from and I'm looking for guidance on the most "compatible" parts for my compression ratio for an All Motor screamer.

Headers:

SMSP, RMF Narrow, PLM Standard Tri-Y. PLM Toda Replica

Intakes Manis:

Performer X, Ported Type R, Professional Products, P30

Camshafts:

S2 Tuners 2 & 3, S2 Pro 1, 2 & 3

Why do I have so many options? I've been buying parts for several years for 3 B-series projects which only now do I have time to work on - an all motor build, a supercharged build and a turbo build.

Why not test them all and see what works for you?

 

Are you set on running 11.5:1? Bump it up another point and throw the pro 2's in it and you're in business.

 

Sounds like all motor hell. Hopefully you have access to discounted dyno time for testing.
