1.5 60' On 22x9x13 Inch Slicks?!
I have an n/a B series. 240-250 Whp, EG Hatch, 1950 pounds with driver. The car is on a 4.4 Final Drive GSR Trans with MFactory LSD, Full Race Traction Bar Setup, Full Suspension, Spec diaphragm clutch. This size slick best matches my gearing (4.4 final gsr trans and 9250 rev limit) but my question is will it be possible to hit mid to high 1.5 60' times on these shorter slicks? Anyone with any first hand experience? Thanks!

yes, can be done as I've don't it many times but with the loss of having to shift to 5th at the end of the track..you do have to tweak your suspension to yield the 1.5s, its isn't just boltNgo...also depends where your torque range lands during the launch...I had migrated to the 24.5s eventually...still yielded the 1.5s and didn't need to shift to 5th anymore.
I've found on my n/a mustang that every 100 pounds I would take out I would drop .030 on the 60' time alone, not increasing power at all. Weight seems to play a key role in getting a car to 60' well, the lighter the better assuming the suspension, slicks and clutch are set up right.
