2014 CRV EXL Random Beep Noise
My 2014 CRV EXL has been making a very random beep noise since a month after we purchased it brand new from the dealer. To describe this "beep" noise, it sounds like someone has started a recording with a "beep" noise. I have noticed this noise more often when the temperature outside is below 50 degrees. It went on and off all last winter, didn't notice it in the summer and now that the temperatures have dropped it has started up again. When you start the car, sometimes it starts with the beep noise coming from the rear. When you are driving the car, it will randomly make the noise and always sounds like it is coming from the rear of the car. There are no light on my dashboard on and yes I have my seat belt on. I took it to the dealer and that was a question the guy asked me. Anyway, wondering if anyone else experiences this very random beep noise, like they are going to be recorded in their Honda. The dealer wants me to bring it back as of course they heard nothing when they had it. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
I have the exact same issue in my 2015 CRV EX-L. Took it to the dealership and found that there is a seal in the master cylinder that was leaking brake fluid and allowing air bubbles. Mechanic wasn't able to hear the issue when test driving, so I took a video recording to show from my phone as proof. Mechanic was able to tell subtle difference between the demo CRV and mine. Honda canada fixed under warranty.
